Lyman Curtis
Lyman Curtis traveled in the 1847 Brigham Young Company and was part of the 13th Company of Ten led by Shadrach Roundy. Late in 1847 he returned to Winter Quarters to get his family. He crossed the plains again, this time with his family, in 1850. He and his wife had a child born en route. Additional research is needed to determine the name of the pioneer company with which they traveled in 1850. The Curtis family might have come in the Stephen Markham company, but there is only one undated/unauthored source for this and there is no primary documentation to confirm it.
