Mads Thomas Larsen Christensen Thorpe

Because their was numerous Christian Larsen's living in Ephraim his father became known as Christian Larsen of Torp (from Torpmark in Denmark.)   thus Thorpe became the family surname.

In some sources his name is "Thomas Larsen Thorpe." He came on the ship, B S Kimball in 1863 with his father, Christen his mother Ane M and siblings Lars P.,and Mette Kirstine.
