Mahalia Ann Rebecca Matthews
She initially traveled to the Valley with her parents in 1848. Her future husband, John D. Holladay, was also in the company. They were married not long after arriving in the Salt Lake Valley on October 28, 1848. The moved to San Bernardino sometime before 1851, where their first child was born. They remained there until returning in the winter of 1857-1858. Further research is needed to identify the company they traveled with.
