Maren Pedersdotter
Mother of Jacob Johnson and Christen Jensen and widow of Jens Andersen. She married Jens Christian Sorrenson in Denmark and the family crossed the Atlantic on the ship John J, Boyd (12 December 1855-15 February 1856.) In the 1860 Utah census she is Mary Sorrenson of Weber County, Utah. The obituaries of her son Jacob incorrectly says they immigrated to Utah in 1854. At the time of her death her surname was Smith; she is buried in the Spring City Cemetery, Sanpete County, Utah.
