Margaret Catherine [Kate] Miller
Margaret and her sister, Barbara, traveled to the Valley in 1861. They are seen living with relatives in Pennsylvania in the 1860 federal census and are documented in Utah by an ordinance performed in the Centerville Ward on 16 June 1861. Their parents made the trip to Utah the year before. Further research is needed to identify the name of the company the girls traveled with and with whom.
Some census records list her given name as "Kate." She later married John Richard Cooke.
