Margaret Ruth McConnell

12 November 1841 – 8 October 1898. Born in Cynthiana, Posey, Indiana, United States. Daughter of Jehiel McConnell and Nancy Barrett. They travel west with the Allen Taylor Company arriving in the Salt Lake Valley in October 1849. Married Rufus Chester Allen on 20 March 1857 in Salt Lake City. Baptized in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on 10 September 1857. They later divorce. Margaret married Anthony Hornback on 19 December 1880 at Deer Lodge, Montana Territory, at the age of 39. Died on 8 October 1898 in Salmon, Lemhi, Idaho at the age of 56.
