Martha Jane Stratton

Proof that Stratton family traveled to Utah in 1848 is the fact that Anthony Stratton's name appears on the list of lots distributed to those in Salt Lake in 1848. Her obituary also mentions that she was born the same year that "her parents were traveling with the body of the Church to the west." This gives additional proof that they traveled to Utah in 1848.
