Martha Reed
The Twiggs family arrived in New Orleans on 12 January 1855 via the ship The Clara Wheeler. Many members of the family died at Mormon Grove. Only Martha, her husband John, and her niece and nephew, Thomas and Emma, continued on the overland journey.
