William, his wife and daughter arrived in New York on 28 July 1868 via the ship Colorado. PEF records confirm that they arrived in Utah that same year. Further research is needed to identify the company with which they traveled to Utah.
The 1880 Nebraska census shows her surname as "Collins."
Mary Ann's birth and death dates are confirmed by the inscription on her gravestone in Omaha, Nebraska, which shows her name as "Mary A. Collins."
