Mary Ann Corbridge

Daughter of Elizabeth Walmsley Corbridge Walker. Mary Ann's obituary says she crossed the plains in 1849 while a secondary source says she traveled in the Edward Hunter Company one year before her mother and siblings. The Hunter Company crossed the plains in 1850. However, a biographical sketch of her half brother (Solomon Walker), published during his lifetime, says that the family crossed the plains in 1852. Additional research is needed to clarify the dates of crossing and to the identify the pioneer companies with which Mary Ann and the rest of her family traveled.
