She also came with her son,  James Campion, and her travel to Utah is mentioned in her son's obituary.  On the 1862 "William Tapscott"  ship manifest, her name was "Mary A. Campion."

Her birth and death dates are confirmed by her death certificate and the inscription on her gravestone.
