Birth date confirmed by Millcreek Ward records at the time of a rebaptism on 20 December 1857, which was also the first documentation to place them in the valley. A daughter, Elizabeth, was born in May of 1856 in California, so the family would have traveled to Utah sometime in 1856 or 1857. Further research is needed to narrow the years of their travel and identify the name of the companies they traveled with.
