Mary Ann Rawlings
Mary Ann arrived in New York on 20 July 1864 via the ship The Hudson. She arrived in the valley some time prior to 31 December 1864, when her PEF loan was recorded in Church records.
Sources disagree on which company she traveled in. However, the Hyde and Snow Companies traveled very closely together for most of the journey so her traveling group may have moved from one to the other. She is listed on the ship without immediate family. It is uncertain with whom she was traveling. However, her name is included in the list of immigrants traveling in the Hyde company, so it is most likely that she traveled with them.
Her birth and death dates are confirmed by her death certificate.
