Mary Ann Stafford
Evidence from emigration and church records proves that Mary Ann traveled to Utah in 1854. Further research is needed to determine the name of the company she traveled with.
Her son, Scholes Partington, born in 1849, was on the 1854 Germanicus ship with her, but he died 6 June 1854 in Council Bluffs, Iowa before she departed for Utah. Her husband Richard Partington came to Utah in 1853 with the Claudius V. Spencer Company.
