In some sources her surname is spelled "Mumford."
Although not directly listed in the memorandum book, Harriet (Mary Ann's mother) purchased enough food rations for two people. According to Mormon Migration, Harriet and Mary Ann traveled from Liverpool to New York aboard the Colorado, arriving 28 July 1868.
