Mary Eliza Winkless
Mary, her brother, and her half-sister were the orphans of Thomas and Mary Winkless. They came to Utah with their uncle James Weaver Palmer. Her obituary states that she came to Utah with her parents when she was 5 years old, but this information is incorrect. Her parents both died in 1849 in Missouri and she had her 6th birthday just 9 days before the company departed.
