Mary Elizabeth Johnson
It is possible that Mary and her stepson, Isaac Johnson came to Utah with her husband Thomas Smith Johnson in the 1850 Benjamin Hawkins Company. However, we do not have access to a company roster which would confirm that possibility. The first documentation we have of her arrival in Utah is the 1856 Utah census, which shows her living in the Salt Lake City Seventh Ward. Further research is needed to determine the year of her arrival and the name of the pioneer company with which she traveled.
