Mary Ellen Clapper
Daughter of Henry and Sarah Clapper. She traveled in the Ettleman Company with her parents and sister. Her grandfather, aunts, and uncles also traveled in the Ettleman Company. The Clapper family stayed in Utah for only a few years before returning to Iowa.
According to census records, she married William Forney sometime before the 1880 Iowa census was recorded.
