Mary Fogg Holder
Evidence from emigration, church (Perpetual Emigrating Fund), and genealogical records proves that James and Mary Eckersley traveled to Utah in 1863. They sailed to America in 1862 and had a child born in Utah in January 1864, proving that they had to travel to Utah in 1863. They were also rebaptized in Santaquin on 13 October 1862. Their name is misspelled as "Heckersley" or "Ackersley" on the roster. The Santaquin record lists her birth year as 1828, but this is incorrect as the ship manifest gives her age as being younger than her husband.
