Evidence from immigration and land records prove that the Andrews family came to Utah in 1854. They sailed to America on the ship John M. Wood in 1854, their names appear on PEF records, and William purchased property in Salt Lake City on 11 December 1854. Further research is needed to determine the name of the pioneer company they traveled with.
