Mary Jane Ann Mackie
The first documentation to place Mary Jane Ann in Utah is her marriage to John Porter Barnard in Salt Lake City on 25 June 1856, which was prior to the arrival of that season's emigration. Further research is needed to determine the year of her arrival in Utah and the name of the pioneer company with which she traveled.
A church record shows her surname as "MacKay," and FamilySearch shows it as "Mackie."
We have not been able to find her name on ship records, Utah census records, or death information.
