Mary Jane Bishop

Her birth and death dates are confirmed by her death certificate and the inscription on her gravestone.

Mary sailed to America in 1852 on the ship Kennebec, the same ship as her future husband Edward and his brother William were on.  Mary and Edward were married in St. Louis, Missouri, USA on 30 March 1852, and then continued their travel to Utah.  She was rebaptized in Salt Lake City 1 October 1853.
