Mary Jane Hetherington
Mary Jane told her granddaughter that she came to Utah in 1852 in a company that had one captain named Winters. The James C. Snow company fits that description, but some of the other incidents she recounted don't match it. Further research is needed to determine the name of the company she traveled with.
