Mary Jane McCarrel

Daughter of Jesse and Mary Jane Locke McCarrel.  She sometimes went by "Jane," apparently because she had a younger sister who was also named "Mary."  She is with her family in the 1850 Pottawattamie County, Iowa census.  In Utah she married Peter Wilson Conover in November 1850 so in the Territorial census (taken early in 1851), she is Mary J. Conover in Utah County.  Her death date is from the Utah Cemetery Index.
