Mary Langmaid Nixon

She came with her seven children. The article in the Journal History simply lists her coming with her family. Her husband is not listed as being with her because he died in 1859. We know that her husband arrived in Salt Lake before 5 August 1859. He died on that date in St. Louis, Missouri. We have not been able to confirm which company he came with.

The entire family sailed to America in 1857 on the George Washington.  The ship manifest lists their surname as "Bates."
