Mary Lockwood

Her travel to Utah un 1861 with the Homer Duncan pioneer company is confirmed by her obituary.

Some sources give Mary's birth year as 1843 but she appears with her parents as a two month old in the 1841 England census.  She crossed the Atlantic to New York on the ship Underwriter in 1861 and married David Gibson Ross in November of this year; they later divorced.  In 1868 she married William Beauten Kemp.
