Mary Murdoch
She and her three children arrived in New York on 24 July 1866 via the ship St. Mark. On the ship records and overland company records, they are traveling under her maiden name of Murdoch. The overland company record lists only Mary, as head of household, but it shows that she purchased 4 and one half adult food rations for that portion of the journey. Further research is needed to identify the names of the other individuals in her traveling party. There is another name handwritten next to hers on one of the copies of the roster, but it is illegible.
