Mary Richardson

Mary and her son, James Buss, traveled with the Hyrum Mott family. Though their names are not documented in the William Snow company, they are found on the Roundy company roster with the Mott family party which consisted of 14 people. the Snow Company roster indicates that while the party was with them, it also consisted of 14 people so it is assumed that the Buss's traveled in both these companies with the Mott family.

The Mott family is documented in two different 1850 companies. As the companies often traveled closely together, it was not uncommon for families to move from one to another during their journey.
