Mary Young Miller

Mary, her husband, and daughters arrived in New York on 6 July 1866 via the ship Arkwright. The overland company records indicate that her husband, Andrew, purchased two adult food rations, indicating that at least she was still with him on that part of the journey. It is assumed that their two young children were with them as well.

Thompson records indicate that the family left the company at O'Fallon's Bluff. It is uncertain if they continued traveling alone, or if they joined up with another company.

Her birth year is calculated base on the age recorded on the ship records.
