Matilda Hansson
The Hansson family arrived in New York on 18 July 1866 via the ship Humboldt. Only Hakan's name appears on the overland company records, as head of household, but it shows that he purchased five and a half adult food rations for that portion of the journey, indicating that the family who were with him on the ship voyage, continued on with him across the plains.
On the birth record cited, her name is written as "Boel." As an adult, she went by the given name of Matilda.
