Mercy Miranda Hill
Mercy was a widow, and it is likely that she and her children David William, Charlotte, Warren, Bolivia, and Valaria Ellen came to Utah in the 1850 Stephen Markham Company with her daughters Mary Lovina and Jerusha. They also may have come to Utah in the 1850 David Evans Company with her daughter Rosetta. Mercy's daughter, Henrietta, died in 1849 in Ohio. The family appears in the 1850 Utah census, which was taken in the Spring of 1851. Further research is needed to determine the name of the pioneer company they traveled to Utah with.
Her name is listed as "Miranda Campbell" in the 1850 Utah census, and as "Maranda Mallery in the 1860 Utah Census.
