From Sweden. In the roster for the Patterson Company, it is listed as A. Engstrom.  There is no first name listed for him. Mons did come in 1863, and  went by Mans, Mons, or Magnus.  He came on the ship, John J. Boyd in1863 he was age 28 and a shoemaker.
