Mrs. Joanna Noel

Whitney in October of the same year.  Church ordinance records prove that Joannah H. Whitney was in Utah by early 1851 and give her birth date and place as 12 December 1825 in Madisonville, Hopkins County, Kentucky.  Joanna then appears in the household of Orson Whitney in the Utah Territorial census (taken in April 1851).  She has a one-week-old baby.
