Nathan Bankhead
Nathan was a formerly enslaved African-American who came to Utah in 1848.
Although it has been suggested that he was a participant in the rescue companies, it has since been determined that it was a misidentification. Thomas Bankhead was a member of the 1856 rescue companies, not Nathan.
