Nathaniel Prentiss Worden
Evidence from census, genealogical and military records proves that Nathaniel traveled to Utah in 1851. He does not appear on the 1850 Utah census. He was re-baptized at Salt Lake City 16 August 1851 and his name appears in the records of the Utah Territorial Militia in September of the same year. Further research is needed to determine the name of the company with which he traveled. Later, in the winter of 1856, Prentiss Worden participated in the rescue effort to bring in emigrants stranded on the plains of Wyoming.
