Evidence from emigration and genealogical sources proves that the Nielsen family came to Utah in 1857. They were on the ship in 1857 and had a son born in Utah October 1857. The family's travel to Utah in 1857 is also confirmed by the obituary of Olevia.
On some sources Ole's given name is spelled "Ola".
