Orissa Adelaide Thorn
The Joseph Thorn family originally went to Utah in 1847. However, at some point they returned to Iowa, and they stayed there until 1853. After arriving in Utah in 1853, with other extended family members, they bid them farewell and Joseph took his family to California.
Ancestry's transcriber of the 1860 federal census for San Bernardino, California incorrectly interpreted Orissa's name as "Origen," a member of the Joseph Thorn household. In the 1870 census she is "Orisa Osborn" still living in the household of Joseph Thorn.
She married John Osborn 28 April 1870. Surname on gravestone is "Osborn."
