Feb 10,1921 Elder Peterson and Elder Condie opened missionary work in Superior, Arizona by holding nightly services in a rented hall under the direction of John McCarrey (Pres. of Arizona Conference). (Calimis 3:1) About March 15, 1921 returned to Phoenix to labor with Elder Balle, H. Bodily, and Kasius. The four elders are using their singing quartet, cottage meetings, & street meetings to build favorable interest towards the church. (Calimis 6:3) The Arizona Mission Conference concluded April 20, 1921. Elder O. Peterson conducted the choir that performed the 'fine musical numbers' (Calimis 8:13). Reported May 15, 1921- Elder Peterson contracted small-pox in Arizona and then traveled to Los Angeles before it was evident. Mission office was duly quarantined and due precautions taken. He is now recovered (Calimis 9:2).
