Son of Jens T. and Karen Troelsen Peterson. On the 1855 manifest of the ship James Nesmith he is listed as "Peter Jensen Petersen."
He is not listed on the company roster. However, the Lever, W. H. History of Sanpete and Emery Counties source lists him as traveling with the company. It is unlikely that he traveled without his family.
