Permelia Mecham

Parmelia traveled with her parents and siblings in the Allen Weeks Company (1852). First documentation to place her in Utah is a rebaptism in the Lehi Ward on 1 April 1857, which was prior to that year's emigration season. According to census records, she is in Iowa as late as 8 October 1850. (That census lists the family name as "Wickham.") Lehi Ward records confirm her birth date. She later married Daniel Bigelow.
