Peter Mikkelsen

Evidence from emigration and church ordinance records proves that the Mikkelsen family traveled to Utah in 1862. They possibly came with the 1862 Christian A. Madsen Company, but further research is needed to confirm the name of the company they traveled with.

The family traveled to America in 1862 on board the "Franklin." The family consisted of the father, Peder mother, Karen Maarie and children: Frederikke, Ane Marie, and Hansine, who died at sea.
