Family records infer that Peter traveled to Utah in 1859 and  married Bengta Jonsson Bengtsson en route. However, Sugarhouse Ward records, which confirm birthdate listed, indicate that Peter was rebaptized in that ward on 8 March 1856. This date conflicts with the travel date of 1859.
