Rasmus Ove Rasmussen
He sailed to America with his mother and sister in 1868 on the ship Emerald Isle, arriving in New York on 14 August 1868. His obituary says that he came to Utah at age 12, but he would have had his 13th birthday before the ship departed from England. The 1920 Utah census also states that he immigrated to America in 1868.
Further research is needed to determine the name of the pioneer company with which the family traveled to Utah.
In his death certificate, his middle name is spelled "Obie."
