Rasmus Rasmussen Lund

The Lund family sailed to America in 1857 on the ship Westmoreland.  Maren, Rasmusdatter Lund, the mother of Rasmus, accompanied his family on the ship, but we do not know if she survived the journey and arrived in Utah with the family.  Further research is needed to locate a document which confirms her arrival in Utah so that we can add her name to our Mormon Pioneer Overland Travel website.  

The obituary of his son Rasmus which appears on FamilySearch states that the family came to Utah with the 1857 Mathias Cowley Company.
