Rebecca Hill

She traveled to Utah with her aunt, Mary Hill Bullock. Her father, Archibald Newell, traveled to the Salt Lake Valley in 1847 with the Abraham O. Smoot/George B. Wallace Company. Her mother, Isabella Hood, died in Winter Quarters in 1847. 

Her brother, Samuel Hood, traveled with their grandparents, Alexander and Elizabeth Hill, to the Salt Lake Valley in 1851 with the John G. Smith Company. Rebecca's sister, Hannah Hood Hill, traveled to the Salt Lake Valley with her father's brother, Alexander Hill, Jr. in the 1849 Allen Taylor Company

Her birth and death dates are confirmed by the inscription on her gravestone and her death certificate.
