He is seen on overland company records as traveling with his older, married sister and her family in the 1861 Cannon company. However, he is also seen just a year later, on both ship and overland company records as traveling with his own mother and younger brother in the 1862 Horton D. Haight Company. Further research may be needed. It is uncertain whether or not that would have been possible.
