It appears that his date of arrival to Utah may be incorrect. His mother (Eunice Haynes) arrived in 1854 with her new husband (John G. B. Haynes). His father, Walter, is not listed with any other family members on the printed roster for the Livingston and Kinkead Freight Train (1855).
His obituary states that he came to Utah in 1855, but that may be incorrect.
