Rhoda Paxman Dye
Rhoda appears in the 1860 federal census in Boston, Massachusetts with her husband Samuel and her one year old son Samuel. Samuel Sr. crossed the plains with the Reed Freight Train of 1861 but the first documentation placing Rhoda in Utah are Church ordinance records of 1867. Additional research is needed to identify the exact year Rhoda and her son traveled and the name of their pioneer company.
