Richard Hammond Ashby

The Ashby family traveled to the Salt Lake Valley with the Brigham Young Company in 1848.  The Ashby family included Susan Hammond Ashby Noble and her children Benjamin, Elizabeth Rebecca Ashby Snow (wife of Erastus Snow), Harriett Maria, Nathaniel, Richard Hammond, William Hardin, Mary Jane, Emma Smith, and John Jefford.

FamilyTree lists his birth date as 25 Dec. 1836. His death certificate shows the date as 26 Dec. 1836.
