Robert M. Taylor
Church ordinance records prove Robert was in Utah by 26 October 1861. His family crossed the Atlantic on the ship John M. Wood in 1854. Diaries of Fredrick Chadwick Andrew and Peter Sinclair who traveled with them report that Robert's wife, Frances, died on 16 May, as they traveled up the Mississippi River. Additional research is needed to identify the exact year he crossed the plains and the name of the pioneer company with which he traveled.
